America’s Next Top Model
ANTM is a guilty pleasure of mine. Photography is one of my biggest hobbies, so part of it comes from the intrigue of creating a striking photograph and capturing a picture that really says something. Another part of the appeal is sociology, the study of how people interact with one another, because there is always, always interesting drama on ANTM. (It’s a reality TV show! What do you expect!?!)
I’m not always good at picking who is going win. The earliest cycle I watched was 6, and I really liked Sarah (#4) and Joanie (#2). My cycle 7 favorites were Brooke (#8) and CariDee (#1). In cycle 8, I was rooting for Brittany (#5) and Renee (#3). And cycle 9, which we all found a bit disappointing, my favorites were Lisa (#6) and Jennah (#2). I like to pick some favorites from the beginning and try to follow them throughout the cycle. Hopefully Cycle 10 will give us some interesting personalities!
